Senior Financial Accountant

Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant Location: Birmingham (Nechells, B7) Salary: £50,000-£60,000 (dependant on experience) Type: Permanent, Full-Time, On Site Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am 6pm (40 hours p/w) Overview We are working with a well-established and growing specialist manufacturing business in Birmingham to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant. You will oversee the company''s day-to-day financial accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Preparing Monthly Management Financial Reports including forecasts. Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Cash management including bank reconciliations and cashflow reporting. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including follow up and resolution. Identifying, developing, and implementing process and system improvements for maximum efficiency and compliance Manage stock take and reconciliation of book stock to physical stock count results Month end process and closing. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards Supporting external audits Essential: Full professional accountancy qualification (e.g., CCAB, CIMA, ACA, ACCA) Atleast 5 years post-qualification experience In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and financial regulations Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP) with experience in financial modelling, automation, scenario analysis, and KPI dashboard reporting Strong analytical ..... full job details .....
