Senior Finance Analyst

The Role

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Senior Finance Analyst will play a key role in enhancing the organisation''s commercial finance and business partnering capabilities.

This is a highly visible role that combines financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful insight, improve reporting processes and support the ongoing development of the finance function.

The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys identifying opportunities for improvement, increasing automation and helping organisations become more data-driven.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Deliver high-quality financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop meaningful reporting and KPIs to improve commercial visibility across the business.
• Support the continued development of FP&A processes and reporting capabilities.

Business Partnering

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Provide challenge, insight and financial guidance to support decision-making.
• Translate financial information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Act as a trusted finance partner, helping drive accountability and performance improvements.

Process Improvement & Transformation

• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and financial processes.
• Support ongoing finance transformation initiatives, including enhancements to systems and data platforms.
• Drive improvements in automation, efficiency and accessibility of financial information.
• Contribute to the development of a more insight-led and commercially focused finance function.
• Champion the adoption of AI and advanced analytics across Finance, identifying opportunities to enhance forecasting, reporting, insight generation and decision support through the effective use of emerging technologies.

This role is permananet, full time based-on a 35 hour week.
