Senior Finance Assistant

NLB-Solutions-are-working-with-a-large-business-to-recruit-for-a-new-senior-finance-assistant-that-is-able-to-support-to-the-Finance-Manager-through-day-to-day-finance-operations,-including-general-accounting,-sales-and-general-ledger-support,-month-end-reporting,-and-internal-control-ownership,-whilst-ensuring-accuracy,-efficiency,-and-strong-collaboration-with-internal-teams-and-stakeholders.-The-role-will-require-someone-that-is-immediately-available-and-has-experience-of-working-at-this-level-already-and-commit-to-the-role-over-18-months.

Duties:

• Monthly-closing-journal-preparation-and-posting.
• Management-of-monthly-reconciliation-of-Balance-Sheet-accounts.
• Preparation-of-reporting-to-group-company.
• Management-of-Fixed-Assets-(recording-of-additions-and-disposals,-monthly-reconciliations,-annual-verifications).
• Perform-compilation,-consolidation,-and-analysis-of-financial-data.
• Manage-the-preparation-of-budget-reporting-to-internal-stakeholders.
• Business-Partnering-and-collaboration-with-internal-and-external-business-partners-(both-financial-and-non-financial).
• Maintain-accurate-finance-records-and-ensure-supporting-documentation-is-stored-appropriately.
• Support-general-finance-administration-(AP-invoice,-AR-Credit-processing)

Person-Spec:

• Higher-secondary-education,-apprenticeship-in-finance/accounting-or-equivalent-experience.
• Relevant-experience-in-finance-&-accounting
• Commercial-finance-experience,-preferably-in-a-Sales-or-Marketing-related-environment.
• Solid-understanding-of-accounting-and-bookkeeping-principles.
• Experience-working-with-SAP/SAP-B1.-(desirable)-
• Strong-command-of-the-English-language.
