Senior Facilities Technician

We are recruiting a Senior Facilities Technician to join our client who are a leading food distribution company undergoing a significant period of growth As part of or clients wider growth across the island of Ireland, this role will support the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of a brand new and high tech facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good facilities electrical/ mechanical knowledge who like to take their career forward in to a Lead Facilities role Approximately 50/50 hands on facilities work, also working with a BMS system and coordinating contractors to ensure facilities run efficiently at all times. Core hours Monday to Friday 8 - 5 The RoleReporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the site and equipment. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring both mechanical and electrical expertise and the ability to manage routine and reactive tasks across the facility.Operating and maintaining heating plant and equipmentElectro-mechanical troubleshooting and fault loggingGeneral facilities maintenance, including fixtures, plumbing, and fittingsSupporting HVAC, access control and water systems maintenanceCarrying out planned preventative maintenance tasksCompleting checklists and logging actions on the CMMS systemSupporting compliance and documentation for regulatory inspectionsAssisting and supervising external contractorsProviding emergency response and occasional out-of-hours support What ..... full job details .....
