Amentum is recruiting for a Senior Engineer - Core Ancillaries, a key role within the Nuclear Equipment team. You will have a significant input into how the team grows, with a strong influence on this process, and help build a team SQEP capable of delivering the required work. The role requires leadership across multiple locations and collaboration with suppliers nationally and internationally, which may involve travel. Key responsibilities include:Being technically accountable for developing solutions within the defined scopeProviding domain knowledge and experience relevant to this roleWorking independently to solve complex technical problems, seeking specialist advice when necessary, and contributing significantly to the team’s delivery objectivesLeading and supervising a small team of engineersDefining work and ensuring team delivery within scopeSetting objectives and conducting performance reviewsPlanning, coordinating, and delivering scope in line with broader project plans, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgetsCollaborating with the Manager to define team activities and oversee workManaging stakeholder relationships and leading supplier engagementsEnsuring outputs meet quality and timing standards through technical reviews and process adherenceDemonstrating leadership and advocating for the team/departmentHere''s What You''ll Need
