This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious engineering professional to take on a senior technical position within a specialist manufacturing environment, influence engineering standards and play an important part in the development of a growing operation.As the new Senior Electrical Engineer, you will work alongside the Engineering Manager to oversee day-to-day engineering activities, improve equipment reliability and strengthen the technical capabilities of the wider team. Your responsibilities will span electrical fault diagnosis, planned maintenance, machinery upgrades, equipment commissioning and staff development, with a particular focus on keeping production running safely and efficiently.The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will bring a strong background in industrial electrical engineering, ideally gained within plastics manufacturing, extrusion blow moulding or a similar production setting. You should be comfortable diagnosing complex machinery faults, supporting maintenance teams and sharing your technical knowledge with colleagues.
