Responsibilities

Coaching and mentoring other engineersSupporting functional and project managers with planning of activities and reporting on progressEmbedded firmware design and programming using CLow Power electronics design for new and existing medical devicesAlso including:MicrocontrollersStandard and programmable logicDigital and Analogue circuitsGenerating design documentationWork as part of the hardware team to implement product development plans.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:Degree qualified with at least 5 years’ experience in a product design environmentA demonstrated ability to communicate and work as part of a multi-disciplinary teamMicroprocessor firmware development experience for low power devicesA firm analytical and practical understanding of fundamental electronic theory.Experience in both analogue and digital design through full product lifecyclesA high degree of self-motivation together with an eye for detail and the ability to investigate technical concepts and problems in depth.EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING WOULD ALSO BE BENEFICIAL:Design and implementation of digital filtersInterfacing with other devices via Bluetooth and USBDevelopment of test harness and tools using C# / .NETUse of circuit simulation packagesSchematic capture and PCB design for small form-factor products.ISO or similar quality systemsIEC family / IEC standardsPrevious work with medical ..... full job details .....
