Operating across a range of sectors, this organisation has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality engineered solutions and is continuing to invest in its design and product development capability.As part of ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join their engineering team and play a key role in the development of innovative products from concept through to manufacture.As Senior Design Engineer, you will take ownership of complex design projects, working closely with manufacturing, production, and customers to deliver robust engineering solutions.Key responsibilities include:Leading design and development projects from initial concept through to production releaseProducing detailed 3D models, engineering drawings and technical documentationManaging BOMs, design reviews and engineering change requestsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across existing product rangesCollaborating with cross-functional teams including production, procurement and qualityMentoring and supporting junior members of the design teamEngaging directly with customers to understand requirements and provide technical solutionsEnsuring designs meet relevant industry standards, quality requirements and cost targetsWhat You''ll Need to SucceedDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, ..... full job details .....
