Operating across a range of large-scale engineering projects, our client has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality solutions throughout the UK and Ireland.Your New RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of engineering projects. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will take projects from concept through to manufacture and installation, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, industry standards and project objectives.Key responsibilities will include:Producing detailed 3D models, engineering drawings and technical documentationDeveloping innovative mechanical design solutions for bespoke engineering projectsCreating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs)Collaborating with manufacturing, procurement and project teams throughout the product lifecycleSupporting prototype development, testing and continuous product improvement activitiesLiaising with customers, suppliers and subcontractors when requiredEnsuring all designs comply with relevant engineering standards and regulationsContributing to value engineering and cost reduction initiativesWhat You''ll NeedTo be considered, you should have:Degree or HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplinePrevious experience in ..... full job details .....
