The role of
Sr. Manager of Data
is a highly visible position within the organization. You will have direct client responsibility, manage your team, and serve as a technical lead for your reports and others. You will report to the
Director of Data
for your client squad.What you’ll be doing:
The Sr. Manager of Data oversees several business areas:Designing, delivering, and maintaining data management processes for assigned clients.Managing and being fully accountable for the work of junior data resources, possibly across global offices/time zones.Balancing data quality with client requirements.Building and automating data collection solutions from various sources such as ad servers, social networks, DSPs, search engines, etc.Communicating with data owners to ensure timely delivery of accurate, clean data.Managing data projects, including timelines, risks, and dependencies.Coordinating with client leads and line managers on account planning and project initiatives, including resource estimation and staffing.Supporting data initiatives and providing key information for internal and cross-client projects.Training and supporting the use of new data techniques, practices, and tools standardized by the Data Center of Excellence.What we want from you:
6-8+ years of experience in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or related fields.Deep experience with data management, working with multiple datasets, and familiarity with tools like SQL, ETL, and QA processes.Familiarity with DBT is highly valued.Experience with the advertising ecosystem, including ad trafficking, ad servers, DSPs, media strategy, and reporting.Media agency experience is highly valued.Ability to lead requirements gathering, project planning, and implementation for data initiatives.Strong project management skills, including task planning, risk management, and resource allocation.Ability to motivate and manage team members.Organized, detail-oriented, and QA-focused.Experience with Multi-Touch Attribution and Market Mix Modeling is highly valued.Experience with reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI is highly valued.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Why work for us?
