School Data Manager - Requires School Experience

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Data Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a pivotal role in managing and developing our school’s data systems, ensuring accurate and effective use of information across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the management, development, and integrity of the school’s Management Information System (MIS).

• Maintain and analyse student data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.

• Provide timely and accurate data reports to senior leaders, staff, and external agencies.

• Support the effective use of data to drive school improvement and student outcomes.

• Manage statutory returns (e.g., census, exam data submissions).

• Provide training and support to staff in using data systems effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong ICT skills, with experience using school MIS (SIMS, Arbor, or similar).

• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience of working in a school environment or similar data management role (desirable).
