Senior Dam and Reservoir Consultant

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Dams and Reservoirs Engineer at Associate Director level to take a technical leadership role across complex reservoir, dam and hydraulic structures projects.Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering practice, you''ll lead technical design delivery, manage engineering teams and take responsibility for high-quality design outputs across reservoir safety improvement works and major water projects.This is an initial 12-month contract, working 37.5 hours per week, with three days per week required in Surrey.The RoleYou''ll be involved in:Leading engineers and scientists delivering complex dams, reservoirs and hydraulic structures projectsLeading the development of reservoir design deliverables across multidisciplinary projectsManaging technical delivery against project programmes, budgets and key milestonesManaging, reviewing and approving design reports, drawings, calculations and scopes of workProviding technical leadership across dams, reservoirs and hydraulic structures engineeringSupporting reservoir safety improvement works and new-build schemesWorking across earth and concrete dams, weirs and other hydraulic structuresProviding technical guidance and mentoring to junior team membersAdvising clients and project teams on complex engineering challengesSupporting technical aspects of bids and proposalsCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the UK and internationallyHelping develop engineering capability ..... full job details .....
