Senior Cost Engineer - Nuclear

Our client is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to support the reporting, forecasting and financial control of a major nuclear programme at Sizewell C. This permanent role will suit an experienced cost professional with a strong background in cost management and project controls within complex infrastructure environments. This is a hybrid role based out of London but will require the individual to travel to Ipswich every other week.You will need to be eligible to obtain a level of security clearnace for the role.Key Responsibilities:Managing project cost reporting, forecasting and budget controlPreparing accurate financial reports and performance analysis for senior stakeholdersSupporting cost assurance activities and identifying financial risks, trends and opportunitiesMonitoring expenditure against approved budgets, forecasts and project objectivesWorking closely with project controls teams to maintain robust cost management processesProviding clear cost information and insight across a large, complex programmeCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholdersJob Requirements:Significant experience in cost engineering, cost management or project controlsStrong expertise in cost reporting, forecasting and budget managementExperience in cost assurance and project performance analysisUnderstanding of financial reporting on major projects and complex programmesExperience working alongside project controls teamsAbility to ..... full job details .....
