Your Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain and strengthen relationships and be a trusted advisor in at least one form of supply chain (e.g., operations, planning, procurement, manufacturing).

Contribute or lead a workstream within a project and manage activities to complete deliverables within remit.

Be an active member of a core project team, often working with others from EY’s global network.

Focus on our clients

Contribute to client initiatives and deliver value that helps achieve commitments.

Support business development and thought leadership to enhance EY methodologies.

Collaborate with internal sector and account teams to develop your network and apply commercial and procurement expertise.

Support operational excellence

Deliver projects by managing work products within time and budget forecasts.

Ensure delivery quality exceeds client expectations through effective activity management.

Personal and people development

Maintain a personal development program to continually enhance technical and consulting skills.

Grow people leadership experience by leading as part of client and internal teams.

Your ExperienceSenior Consultants bring practical experience from professional services or industry roles with a focus on commercial and procurement experience. Experience across sectors such as Consumer Products and Retail, Energy and Resources, Government and Infrastructure, Health and Life Sciences, Private and National and Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment is valued. Some experience in one or more of the following technical areas is expected:

Supply Chain Strategy – operating model design, segmentation, and inventory optimisation across end-to-end supply chains.

Supply Chain Transformation – involvement in significant transformation projects including design, setup and delivery of change.

Digital Supply Chain – technologies such as RPA, cognitive automation, AI, IoT, Blockchain and analytics.

Supply Chain Analytics – development of analytics to deliver end-to-end visibility.

Supply Chain Planning – demand and supply planning, SandOP, inventory optimisation, production scheduling.

Supply Chain Planning with Technology – knowledge of OMP, Kinaxis, o9, Aera, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, SAP S/4HANA.

Logistics – network design, customs/trade, warehouse design and optimisation, 3PL/4PL or Control Tower management.

Manufacturing – plant-level or network optimisation.

Procurement – strategic, operational or transactional procurement, SAP Ariba experience is valued.

Service and Asset Management Transformation – asset management lifecycle and related processes.

QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with peers and senior stakeholders. Proactive and energetic, self-starters with innovative qualities. Professional body membership or qualifications (e.g., CIPS, IACCM) are beneficial but not required; include relevant skills in your application.
