Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting for a Compensation Governance Manager to join our Human Resources team. In this role you will be responsible for managing the Firm’s job architecture framework including job families, job levels, titles and descriptions. This role supports and performs compensation analyses to maintain a clear and scalable job framework. You will also oversee remuneration directive compliance in our Poland, Luxembourg, Ireland and UK offices.
As a member of the Firmwide Compensation team, this role may lead and participate in the delivery of Firmwide Compensation programs, processes, practices, controls, and governance in the delivery of Firmwide compensation and in support of broad HR.
Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Include
Oversight and implementation of a consistent and scalable job architecture framework across the Firm.
Develop job families and levelling guides aligned with Firm and business needs
Review new and existing job descriptions and level to appropriate grade in the BBH job hierarchy
Use data analytics to assess role consistency, identify gaps and recommend improvements
Oversee location-specific regulatory compensation mandates
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (i.e., pay equity, labor laws)
Develop compensation communication materials for HR, managers and employees on job architecture principles and tools
May lead or participate on compensation related projects such as compensation program design and implementation, external benchmarking studies, and functional promotion review
Must Haves
5+ years relevant compensation experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or finance or related work experience
Experience with tools like Mercer IPE, WTW, Radford, or similar job levelling frameworks
EU/UK remuneration regulatory experience
Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines
Excellent organizational and follow up skills with a strong attention to detail
Knowledge of compensation best practices
Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management in a professional and positive manner
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Pay Equity and Gender Pay Gap analysis principles and methodology
Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Access
Nice to Have
Experience with Workday
Compensation experience in the financial services industry
CCP certification (in process or achieved)
