It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications engineer to further develop their career within a leading building design consultancy.Hybrid 2 days per week in Birmingham.What you''ll need to succeed - Experience of designing building systems including.- Building Management Systems (BMS),- Video Surveillance Systems (VSS),- Access Control Systems (ACS)- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS),Experience of designing Public Address Voice Alarm (PAVA) systemsExperience of designing structured cabling systems, including copper and fibre optic systems and the associated physical network infrastructure.Good understanding of IP data networking, systems design, and the associated active and passive network infrastructure.Some understanding of AV systems design. A background of working in engineering consultancy, including an understanding of RIBA/BSRIA design stages, working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary design team.Experience of attending site and monitoring works, including familiarity with the installation and commissioning stages of the project for communications systems and their supporting ancillaries (such as containment, power).Ability to manage packages of work, taking charge of their own deliverables and the deliverables of others to successfully meet project deadlines.Excellent report writing ability, with ..... full job details .....
