Senior Commercial Manager QS

Cedar Recruitment are supporting a well regarded engineering company with the recruited of an experienced Senior Commercial Manager within MandE to take ownership of the commercial function on major projects across the City of London. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone with very strong Quantity Surveying / Commercial management background and who possesses a proven track record of delivering on large infrastructure programmes. For the role you MUST be able to get work in the office 4-5 days per week in London and the salary on offer for the role is £100,000 - £120,000 per annum. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the commercial management of MandE sub-contracts across the project life cycleLead on contract negotiation, ongoing contract administration, and adhering to NEC contractual requirementsProvide commercial expertise to tender submissions and broader business development effortsPartner with finance and project delivery teams to support accurate forecasting, cost control, and performance reportingPromoting effective commercial practices within a highly regulated, greenfield delivery environmentEngage both confidently and professionally with stakeholders, building and maintaining strong working relationships Essential Requirements: Proven experience in senior commercial / QS roles on MandE sub-contract or infrastructure projectsStrong Mechanical and Electrical (MandE) commercial / QS experienceIn-depth knowledge of NEC contracts and construction ..... full job details .....
