Senior CNC Operator Cranbrook, Kent £Competitive DOE Monday Friday 7:00am 3:30pm Permanent Are you an experienced CNC Operator looking for a stable, permanent position with excellent working hours? We are currently recruiting for a Senior CNC Operator to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Cranbrook. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC professional who is confident working independently, takes pride in producing high-quality components and is looking to develop their career within a supportive manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Setting and operating CNC machinery. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Setting tools, offsets and machine parameters. Producing components to precise tolerances and specifications. Carrying out in-process and final quality inspections. Using a range of precision measuring equipment. Identifying and resolving machining and production issues. Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved. Supporting and mentoring less experienced CNC operators where required. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop. Following all company health and safety and quality procedures. Requirements: Previous experience as a CNC Operator/Setter. Experience with FANUC is a must Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes. The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
