CNC Operator

Firmin Recruit are delighted to be working with one of our established manufacturing clients based near Tonbridge, Kent. Due to continued growth and ongoing investment means they now have a brand-new factory until which will double production capacity and throughput. This period of expansion is a very exciting time for our client and due to this business growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist. Hours: 8. 30 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday Salary : Competitive ( Happy to discuss) Benefits: 25 days holiday + Bank Hol, Quarterely bonuses, Training and Development, cycle to work scheme etc. The Role: The candidate will work within a toolroom department operating a CNC controlled lathes and 2 mills to generate components required for tooling or directly by their customers Most components are designed in-house and will require the successful candidate to use 3D model to generate the matching code within inventor CAM software, which feeds directly into the machines. You will also, in collaboration with the design department, aid the design of any fixturing or jigs that may be required to allow machining of the components. Suitable Candidate: The suitable candidate will need to have a minimum of 2 years experience within a manufacturing environment Have experience of Heidenheim controllers is desirable but not essential Produce small, complex batches of components to high quality standards Experience of working from engineering drawings Ability to work within a team ..... full job details .....
