Are you looking to join an established Accountancy Practice? Reed Practice are proud to be recruiting for an established accountancy practice that has been in operation for 10+ years. They are seeking to add a Senior Client Manager to their team in Cheltenham.Responsibilities

To coach, train, develop and lead their team (4-5 direct reports)To perform relevant employees 1-2-1 meetings for a section of the accounting team.To support the Accountancy Manager with planning and monitoring the performance of the accountancy team’s key performance measures e.g., weekly stats, timesheets etc.To support the Accountancy Manager in developing internal systems and controls to ensure standards are met to support our company values as required.To support the recruitment and interview process with the Recruitment Lead as required.To manage the process of (and where required, directly carry out) preparing, sending and submitting accounts and tax returns for a portfolio of clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.To ensure all internal and statutory deadlines are met e.g. - HMRC, SLA etc.To onboard new clients and integrate them into your portfolio – this will include bookkeeping, compliance etc to then be handed over to the relevant department.To act as liaison between clients and HM Revenue and Customs to deal with and resolve queries.To provide external training e.g., client bookkeeping training and as applicable as per our company values.Qualifications

Must be ACA/ACCA QualifiedExtensive (5+ years) experience of working in a fast-paced accountancy practice with responsibility for a varied caseload of clients, training other colleaguesMust be able to prepare accounts and tax returns for clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.Experience of holding clients meeting, giving advice and utilising Xero, QuickBooks, DEXT and Free Agent to produce client work.Sound understanding and working knowledge of Tax.If you feel this role is for you, please apply ..... full job details .....
