Senior Civil Engineer

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic, and open-minded individuals to join our friendly team in Cardiff to help lead our Drainage Infrastructure team.Working within a dynamic team and overseen by an Associate Director, you will assist in leading the delivery of the Civil Engineering design on a range of challenging projects across the infrastructure sector with a focus on Sustainable Urban Drainage and conventional surface water drainage design.The role is challenging, varied, and you will thrive solving engineering problems.We look after our clients; their work challenges us, stimulates us, and allows us to be proud of our contribution to a changing world. We look after our staff and invest energy in their technical, academic and professional development.Skills / Qualifications Required5+ years’ experience with surface, and foul water design and/or construction to Sewers for Adoption and Design Manual for Roads and Bridges;Civil Engineering degreeAdept at 3D design and modelling using software such as MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Autodesk ICM;Water Authority statutory approval processes such as S104, S106 etc;SuDS Approval Body approval;Awareness of National Planning Policy and Infrastructure design requirements relating to flood risk management;Ability to work using own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Ability to work well independently and as part of a teamExcellent Benefits package that includes + many more.Agile/flexible/hybrid working to support the personal lives of staff;Life insurance and life assurance policies and a health care cash plan7% Contributory pension schemeWe provide a pathway to Professional Membership and CPD ..... full job details .....
