You will be an integral number two to the Director, helping to facilitate that growth.What''s in it for you?Great career trajectory, you''ll be number 2 to the Director in a brand-new officeFantastic exposure to further management opportunities such as Associate DirectorVery social company, regular social occasions which are varied to accommodate everyone.Fantastic central location with easy transport links and an onsite gym.Genuine work-life balance environment, hybrid role with 3 days in the office (flexible to which).Birthday off every year.23 days holiday + bank holidays.Automatically enrolled onto Aviva DigiCare.Role DescriptionProven ability to manage clients, projects, and commercials.Experience liaising with Local Planning Authorities.Capable of taking the reins on projects and progressing into leadership roles.Help guide and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and experience.Oversee designs to ensure they meet standards, regulations, and client needs.Manage resources, schedules, and deliverables to keep projects running smoothly.Build strong relationships with clients and external contacts like contractors and councils.Check and review project work to maintain high quality and resolve issues early.Support bids and tenders with technical input and cost estimates.Skills and ExperienceIdeally 6+ years UK experience with 2 years’ experience in a Principal position.Proven experience managing a team and working on commercial elements of bringing new projects in.Highway design experience, dealing with Section 278 / 38.Drainage design, dealing with Section 104.Previous experience managing clients and expectations.Experience dealing with local planning authorities.Good commercial acumen.For more information, please apply with an up-to-date CV to Becky Kitson at Kitson Associates.
