Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, and passionate Indirect Buyer. The role is part of a growing Procurement Team and reports to the UK Indirect Procurement Manager. Based in London, this position is critical to enhance the procurement function for indirect categories in the UK Headquarter.The role will be expected to impact quickly and develop as the business grows.

Verisure seeks a talented Indirect Buyer to contribute to the procurement function for indirect categories in the UK. This role supports the Go To Market strategy and global indirect category strategy as the company grows.The Buyer will be responsible for executing the indirect procurement function in the UK Headquarter for the assigned categories. He/she will collaborate with, support, and influence business leaders and stakeholders across the whole P2P process, from purchase requisition and negotiation to purchase order. This includes contributing to a Procurement Plan, drafting the sourcing strategy for each category, leading tender execution (from drafting specifications to award and contract signature), and ensuring compliance with procurement processes and policy.ResponsibilitiesExecute the Procurement Plan on categories under responsibility, maximizing savings for the organizationCollaborate, support and influence across the P2P process from requisition to purchase orderExecute tenders (RFPs), negotiate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and handle supplier qualification and selectionEnsure process and policy complianceGather specifications of products and services required by business areasDraft contracts and negotiate agreements with suppliers in coordination with Legal and internal stakeholdersLead market and spend analysisDevelop solutions that meet organizational needs and resultsIdentify and anticipate issues in project execution and implement solutions; escalate as requiredIdentify risks and escalate to ManagerFollow risk mitigation actions and processes definedManage supplier issues, monitor agreements and supplier evaluation, including monitoring supplier performancePropose and lead improvements in procurement processes and policiesReport on all areas of responsibility as neededInteraction and stakeholder engagementLead procurement conversations with suppliers and communicate results and progress of negotiationsAdvise the business on supplier selections and criteriaAct as a communication channel between business and suppliersRepresent the business position with suppliers to obtain the most appropriate proposalsCommunicate results and progress of negotiationsLocationThe role is based in London, UK.Reports and organizationDirect reporting line to the UK Indirect Procurement Manager.Candidate profileExperiences and Qualifications4 years of relevant experience sourcing indirect products and services as part of a procurement team in a large organization.
