About the Role:
As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our purchasing team, managing the procurement of products and components while ensuring quality and delivery targets are met. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with account management and operations teams to support our production line and meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solicit and negotiate supplier prices, lead times, and delivery quotations.
- analyse complex data to make informed purchasing decisions.
- utilise MRP systems to enhance buying and quoting activities.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and key internal functions.
- Drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes.
What We''re Looking For:
- Minimum 4 years of buying experience in manufacturing, especially with electronic products.
- Strong organisational, planning, and analytical skills.
- Confident in using stock or MRP systems; familiarity with IFS or Factory Master is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.
