Senior Buyer - Overseas Purchasing Experience - -80k - -100k

A leading manufacturer in the oil, gas, and precision engineering sector is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to take charge of setting procurement strategies from global suppliers. This is a high-impact role where your ability to negotiate hard, build resilient supply chains, and reduce costs will directly shape business performance.

You''ll lead the procurement of precision-machined parts, working across international markets to secure the best value while maintaining quality and delivery standards. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, have a strong mechanical engineering background and be a confident negotiator.

What you''ll need:
- Strong, proven negotiation skills
- International procurement experience - particularly across Asia (China and India)
- Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems
- Experience sourcing precision-machined components
- open to occasional overseas travel

Desirable:
- A degree in engineering, supply chain or similar
- Experience in oil & gas, valves, or exotic materials
