Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

We’re looking for a hands-on Business Intelligence Analyst to join the BI and Analytics team at a fast growing team going through an exciting data transformation phase. This role is about more than building dashboards – we need someone who can work end-to-end with data, from extraction through to modelling, optimisation and delivering meaningful insights to the business.

Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.What you’ll be doingDesigning and delivering Power BI dashboards that are accurate, intuitive and widely adopted across the business.Building and maintaining semantic models (star schema, relationships, hierarchies) to create a single source of truth.Ability to read SQL CodeImplementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance controls to ensure the right people see the right data.Using Power Query (M language) and DAX for advanced transformations and calculations.Applying incremental refresh and other optimisation techniques to improve dataset performance.Partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Commercial teams to gather requirements and turn them into actionable insight.Communicating the “why” behind the data, not just the numbers.What we’re looking forProven experience as a BI Analyst / Power BI Developer in a commercial environment.Strong technical skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, RLS, semantic modelling).Ability to read and understand SQLStrong stakeholder engagement – able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment where accuracy and governance are ..... full job details .....
