Senior Business Development Manager

Russell Publishing is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team, it is essential for applicants to have experience within a B2B media/ publishing/ events/ marketing solutions environment.Do you have 3+ years multimedia, digital, print or event sponsorship sales experience?Are you highly articulate, confident and motivated?Do you want work life balance - working 2 days per week in the office?Responsibilities

Proactively develop new business to expand client base and increase salesIdentify and develop relationships with potential new clients through researchGain a sound understanding of the core subject matter and provide insight and market feedback to the wider teamMaintaining high levels of scheduled sales calls, visits and client meetingsCreate bespoke campaign proposals to support clients needsIssuing campaign performance reports to clientsSales prospecting through canvassing of clients across competitive media channelsInitiate contact with prospective customers found through prospecting; facilitate and setup meetings via teams or at external conferences and eventsAbility to research prospects and build a comprehensive sales pipelineCreate bespoke campaign proposals to support clients needsApplicants required a minimum of 3 years experience of business development/ sales within publishing, media, sponsorship, marketing solutions or delegates sales. Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Knowledge and use of CRMs. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) – accuracy and professional. Professional attitude and integrity. Networking and building effective relationships. Time management – punctuality, planning and meeting deadlines. Commercial awareness.UK and International travel to visit clients and to attend external industry events is required.Due to the nature of our location, you will require a vehicle to commute to TN16 1NU. All applicants must demonstrate the right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role.Pay range and compensation package
