Senior Business Development ExecutiveLocation: St Albans, HertfordshireSalary: £30,000 - £45,000 Basic DOE + CommissionHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmAbout the RoleWe are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Executive to join a fast-paced, sales-driven environment focused on winning new business.The role is heavily phone-based and requires someone who is confident making outbound calls, engaging prospects, and overcoming objections in order to generate and convert new business opportunities.A strong previous performer in this role came from a hospitality background with no prior industry experience, demonstrating that attitude, communication skills and resilience are more important than sector background.Key ResponsibilitiesMaking high volumes of outbound cold callsEngaging with prospects and getting past gatekeepersGenerating and developing new business opportunitiesFollowing up calls with written proposals and emails detailing costsHandling objections confidently and professionallyBuilding relationships with prospective and existing clientsManaging and developing client accounts once activeWorking to targets and maintaining disciplined activity levelsAttending sales meetings and contributing to team performanceSupporting marketing activity where requiredKey RequirementsAbility to pick up the phone and make cold calls consistentlyConfident, engaging communication styleStrong objection handling abilityTenacity, discipline and a strong work ethicAbility to ..... full job details .....
