Senior Business Case Manager - Security Cleared

Security Clearance Essential CONTRACT INSIDE IR35 £500 - £550 We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Case Manager to lead the development, review and delivery of high-quality business cases within a complex programme environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading business case development in accordance with HM Treasury Green Book and Five Case Model methodologies, ensuring investment decisions are supported by robust analysis, evidence-based recommendations and demonstrable value for money. The role requires significant stakeholder engagement across senior leadership, project teams, SMEs, finance, commercial and governance functions, with responsibility for challenging assumptions where appropriate and driving agreement on preferred options, benefits and strategic outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, development, drafting and review of Strategic Outline Cases (SOC), Outline Business Cases (OBC) and Full Business Cases (FBC). Ensure business cases comply with HM Treasury Green Book guidance and Five Case Model standards. Develop robust strategic, economic, commercial, financial and management cases. Challenge assumptions, evidence and recommendations provided by stakeholders and subject matter experts. Lead stakeholder workshops and engagement activities to gather information and secure agreement. Identify, define and quantify programme and project benefits.
