Senior Business Analyst

Overview

Senior Business Analyst opportunity at Superdrug. The Senior Business Analyst will take functional design accountability for a suite of applications, work with business stakeholders to understand their plans, and collaborate with delivery managers and technical specialists to design and scope projects that meet business needs. The SBA will manage a small number of BAs within the team, coaching and guiding in BA best practices.Key Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and translate business need statements into business requirements.Take functional accountability over a business area and provide end-to-end design principles for transformation projects.Manage demand and new requests into the team, complete high-level assessments, and refine and re-prioritise backlogs with the business.Work with delivery teams to ensure understanding of requirements and priorities.Help with roadmap planning for the relevant application area.Drive best practice business analysis, learn from projects, and promote continuous improvement with delivery, technical, and test teams.Line management of internal IT business analysts, including setting performance targets and giving feedback.Manage the capacity and priorities of BA work across the team to ensure timely completion of impact assessments and deliverables.Perform BA activities on critical transformation projects: elicitation, requirements refinement (functional and non-functional), process redesign, functional design, documentation, and defect analysis/management.Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases/results.Articulate the commercial value/cost of change to support recommendations and priority decisions.Facilitate business alignment on cross-functional projects as required.Assist business stakeholders in defining rollout plans, communication and training, and user support for IT changes.Create and/or review user manuals, procedures, and related user documentation.Support third-party selection by providing input on business requirements and review third-party contracts to meet business needs.Contribute to post-implementation reviews to capture learnings for future projects.Occasionally undertake project management on small IT change initiatives.What’s In It For You
