Senior Building Surveyor - Project bias

Conrad Consulting is recruiting an experienced Building Surveyor / Project Manager to join a growing multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy in Colchester, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor or Project Manager with a strong construction background to take the lead on a varied portfolio of projects, working closely with clients and ultidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes across a range of sectors. The Role You will take a lead consultant role, managing projects from initial design and planning through to procurement, construction and completion. Projects will vary in size, complexity and value, offering a blend of building surveying and project management responsibilities. Working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services, maintaining client relationships and ensuring projects are completed to the required standards, programme and budget. Key responsibilities will include: Leading and managing a varied portfolio of building surveying and construction projects. Acting as Lead Consultant, coordinating project teams and liaising with clients, contractors and other consultants. Preparing and reviewing specifications, tender documentation and construction information. Managing project programmes, risks, deadlines and resources.
