Senior Building Services Engineer (Electrical) at Pick Everard. This role is based in our Birmingham office and involves delivering technical and commercial solutions for a range of clients across private and public sectors, including education, custodial, defence, healthcare, data, leisure and commercial. Deliver portfolios of work across both the private and public sector.Preparation of designs, feasibility studies, reports, and contract documents.Carrying out building analysis.Liaising directly with Clients and Contractors.Ensuring projects are delivered on time.Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and trainees.Compliance with Health and Safety requirements, practices and procedures.Ideal candidate / Qualifications
HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification.Knowledge and understanding of BS7671.Familiarity with electrical and lighting design software such as Hevacomp/Amtech/Dialux.Excellent communication skills, collaborative and self-motivated.Experience with Revit MEP.Fire alarm and emergency lighting design experience.Hands-on knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD.Structured wiring system and security system design experience.Knowledge of current legislation e.g. Scotland Building Regulations, Low/Zero Carbon Technologies and BREEAM.What we offer
