This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced asbestos professional looking to take the next step in their career within a respected and growing consultancy. The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering high-quality asbestos surveys across a varied portfolio of properties throughout Birmingham and the wider Midlands.
The position would suit an established Senior Asbestos Surveyor or an experienced surveyor ready to take on greater responsibility, while benefiting from strong technical support and genuine opportunities for further career progression.

The Role
Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
Conducting bulk sampling across a variety of property types
Producing accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey reports
Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector properties
Managing your own diary and workload effectively
Taking responsibility for larger and more technically demanding surveying projects
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives
Providing technical guidance and support to less experienced members of the team where required
Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and company procedures
About You
BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
Strong experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
Excellent knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
Experience undertaking complex Management and R&D surveys
Confident working independently and managing your own workload
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Excellent report-writing and organisational abilities
Full UK driving licence
Professional, reliable, and technically focused approach to work
