Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist – Revit ProficientExciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to join my clients based in their Cardiff office. They are an established Multidisciplinary practice boasting over 50 years of service across multiple sectors.The ideal candidate will possess 5 + years experience working within a Senior capacity with proven experience managing projects and a small team, Have an excellent understanding of both construction knowledge and technical detailing and be proficient In the use of Revit and AutoCAD to produce design and technical drawing.Key Responsibilities:Create and prepare detailed drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD, both independently and in collaboration with the technical and design teams.Prepare and coordinate detailed design and production information, including tender packages and construction drawings.Develop specifications using NBS software and provide advice on material selection and construction details.Oversee the quality and coordination of drawing information, ensuring that project delivery is in line with the schedule and office quality standards.Manage project aspects such as health and safety, building legislation compliance, and daily administration.Contribute to the design and construction process.Attend client and design team meetingsEffectively manage your time and identify any additional resource needs.Candidate requirementsDegree level qualification in Architectural Technology or equivalent5 + years of experience post qualified in a Senior capacityProficient with Revit, NBS and AutoCAD softwareProject running capabilitiesSmall team management experienceConfident working in a client facing roleStrong understanding of UK Building regulations and Construction methodsOn offer for the successful Senior Technician/Technologist will be a salary of £40,000 - £45,000
