Senior Accountant Location: Lancaster Salary: From £45,000, depending on experience Job Type: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home) Start Date: ASAP We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing and ambitious accountancy practice in Lancaster. This role is perfect for an individual who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with leadership responsibilities and is looking to play a key role in the development of both clients and colleagues. Day-to-day of the role: Preparation and review of statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns. Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong working relationships. Providing proactive business and financial advice to clients. Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and support business growth. Leadership, Management and Accountability: Drive ownership and accountability throughout the team. Demonstrate inspirational leadership by leading through example and promoting a positive team culture. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to support their professional growth and maximise performance. Review work completed by accountants and provide constructive, supportive feedback. Take a hands-on approach to team leadership, ensuring individuals feel motivated, engaged, and well supported.
