Senior Accountant (Property and Fixed Assets)Location: MedwaySalary: 65,000- 71,000Contract Type: PermanentHours: Full time, hybridWe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Accountant to lead their development finance and fixed asset function.Key Responsibilities:Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the development programme, and advising on risk and returnIdentifying accounting, VAT and tax implications for schemes at feasibility and appraisal stagePreparing the monthly fixed asset reconciliation and leading the year-end processSetting capital budgets, forecasting depreciation and property sales, and analysing variancesManaging cash flows and advising on loan drawdown requirementsOverseeing the finances of a subsidiary companyDeveloping fixed asset policies and procedures, and leading a team memberSupporting the board and committees with clear, accurate informationSkills and Experience Required:A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Experience managing a development finance function in a regulated environmentSound commercial awareness and advanced Excel skillsStrong communicator, able to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance colleaguesIf you are a motivated finance professional looking for a varied senior role within a supportive team, we would love to hear from you.Huntress Search Ltd acts as a Recruitment Agency in relation to all Permanent roles and as a ..... full job details .....
