Senior Accountant / Client Manager

My client is a rapidly expanding local practice and they are now-are looking for an experienced and qualified Senior Accountant / Client Manager to manage-a portfolio of clients and ensure-a high standard of service is delivered across all areas of accounting and compliance.

This role is suited to an ACCA or ACA qualified professional who is confident managing client relationships and overseeing work from preparation through to final review.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
• Reviewing accounts, VAT returns, and other compliance work
• Ensuring all client deadlines are met
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients
• Providing advice and support to clients on their financial affairs
• Overseeing and supporting junior team members
• Reviewing work prepared by the team and providing feedback
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients

Requirements

• ACCA or ACA qualified (essential)
• Strong experience within an accountancy practice
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio
• Solid technical knowledge across accounts, tax, and compliance
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
