Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a boutique accountancy practice, who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team based in the Central London area.

• WORK TYPE: Permanent 
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time
• LOCATION: Central London

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Oversee and complete accounting assignments from start to finish.
• Examine VAT returns, management accounts, and statutory accounts.
• Use and offer guidance on cloud accounting programs (such as Xero and QuickBooks).
• Oversee, evaluate, and assist junior team members, including providing training.
• Prepare and review working papers and client-ready outputs
• Identify improvements to clients'' systems, processes, and controls
• Monitor budgets and deadlines, escalating issues where required

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• ACCA/ACA Qualified
• 2+ years experience in an accountancy practice
