We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accounts Professional to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial management of the business. The Role Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance function while ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient financial operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Oversee sales and purchase ledgers, credit control, and payroll. Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting. Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts. Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements. Support year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors. Monitor stock valuation and manufacturing costs. Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability. Develop and improve financial processes and internal controls.
