SEND Tutor - Wokingham

Tutors Required (EOTAS - Wokingham, Berkshire)

Quantum Scholars are working with local authorities and alternative provision settings to recruit experienced tutors to support pupils across Wokingham and the surrounding Berkshire area.

This role involves delivering 1:1 tuition or small group sessions to students who are currently out of mainstream education, often through EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) provision.

About the Role

• Delivering tailored tuition sessions in core subjects (e.g. English, Maths, Science)
• Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, SEMH, and behavioural challenges
• Working either in the home, community settings, or alternative provision centres
• Building strong, supportive relationships to re-engage students with learning

Requirements

• QTS is preferred, but experienced tutors without QTS will be considered
• Experience working with vulnerable learners or those outside mainstream education
• Strong behaviour management and adaptability
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Must have the right to work in the UK
