SEND Tutor - Hayes
SEND Tutors Required (Alternative Provision - Hayes, Hillingdon)We are looking for qualified teachers and experienced tutors to provide 1-to-1 and small group tuition to pupils in and around Hayes and the wider Hillingdon area.This provision supports young people who are not currently in mainstream education or who require additional support due to SEND and/or SEMH needs. Sessions may be delivered face-to-face, online, or through a hybrid model, depending on each placement.There are multiple opportunities available, with consistent referrals from schools and local authorities across the borough. You must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.This role offers a flexible and rewarding alternative to traditional classroom teaching, allowing you to work more closely with individual learners.Role OverviewDeliver tuition across core subjects (English, Maths, Science) based on your experienceSupport pupils from KS1 to KS5Work with learners with SEND, SEMH, and additional needsSessions may take place in homes, schools, community settings, or onlineFlexible working patterns, with opportunities ranging from part-time to near full-timeMany referrals offer up to 5 days per week (approx. 3 hours per day), often running until the end of the academic yearStudent NeedsLearners may present with:SEMH, anxiety, or school avoidanceAutism (ASC), ADHDMLD, SLD, or PMLDA patient, adaptable and trauma-informed approach is key to success in this role.RequirementsQTS / ..... full job details .....
