Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children or young people with a range of special educational needs£ Are you looking for a flexible supply contract supporting a child on a 1:1 basis£ One of our small schools in Faversham requires an experienced SEND TA to provide 1:1 support to a KS1 child after Easter. About the Role:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting a child with additional needs, ensuring they have the best possible learning experience within a nurturing and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child in KS1, adapting strategies to meet their specific educational and developmental needs.
• Utilise appropriate resources, such as visual prompts and structured activities, to support engagement and learning.
• Monitor and document progress, offering detailed feedback to teachers and parents.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere that nurtures the childandrsquo;s confidence and social development.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children and young people, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) or other special educational needs.
• Be patient, resilient, and inclusive in their approach.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and professionals.
• Be reliable, committed, and available on a full-time, long-term basis.
• Hold a relevant qualification or have substantial experience in a similar role.
• Have an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
