We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of secondary schools in York. Whether you''re looking for flexible day-to-day work, short-term assignments, or long-term contracts, we have opportunities to suit your availability and experience.

About the Role:

• Support pupils with a range of SEND needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support and interventions.
• Help create inclusive, nurturing learning environments where every child can thrive.
• Roles available in mainstream and specialist settings.

What We''re Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND (in schools, care, or youth settings).
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and development.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, school hours (term-time only).
• Choose your availability - full-time or part-time options available.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
• Right to work in the UK.
