Teaching Assistant / SEND Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people within education settings?PK Education are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants and SEND Support Staff to work across welcoming and supportive primary schools in the Monk Fryston, Saxton and wider Selby area.We are looking for caring, proactive and adaptable individuals who can support pupils academically, emotionally and socially within classroom and intervention environments.Location Castleford / Saxton / Selby areaPay £90 £110 per day depending on experienceHours Full-time and part-time opportunities availableStart Date Immediate starts and September 2026 roles availableDuties may include: Classroom support1:1 EHCP supportSEND intervention workBehaviour and pastoral supportSmall group workSupporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs Ideal candidates will: Have previous experience working with children or young peopleHave a nurturing and patient approachBe adaptable and proactive within classroom settingsHave strong communication skillsHold relevant TA qualifications or transferable support experience (desirable)Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Be able to provide two professional references Candidates from care, youth work, coaching, residential care or support work backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.If you are looking for flexible and rewarding work supporting children within education, we would love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
