SEND Teaching Assistant - PrimaryManchester and Surrounding Areas Full-Time and Long-Term Opportunities Aspire PeopleAspire People are currently recruiting experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary schools in Manchester and the surrounding areas.We are looking for caring, patient, and confident individuals who can provide effective 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs.The Role: Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties Helping pupils access the curriculum through differentiated activities Supporting communication, social development, and independence Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation Supporting pupils during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback where requiredThe Ideal Candidate: Recent experience supporting pupils with SEND within a school setting Confident working on a 1:1 basis Experience supporting ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs is desirable A calm, patient, and nurturing approach Strong relationship-building and communication skills Able to adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs Reliable, proactive, and committed to safeguardingWhy Work with Aspire People?
