SEND Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join one of our OFSTED Rated Outstanding schools in Warrington from September.

This role would be the perfect fit for anyone with experience in working with children with moderate, severe and complex SEN. Knowledge of ASD communication and sensory needs is desirable.

The school will be looking for an adaptable SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about advancing their careers in education.

Job Details - SEND Teaching Assistant

• Supporting pupils and their physical, social and emotional development.
• Helping teachers to organise lessons that support the needs of pupils, as well as identifying key areas of improvement.
• Preparing classrooms both before and after lessons, including cleaning up.

Person Specification - SEND Teaching Assistant

• Clear communication skills and the ability to utilise these with both students and teachers.
• Patience and understanding with children.
• Ability to support and create a positive and beneficial learning environment for students.
