Entry level SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Area: Bury, Greater Manchester Start Date: Monday 5th October 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 525 - 600 per week / Competitive (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pmAbout the school:We are partnering with a welcoming, specialist SEND school in Bury that nurtures every child''s potential. About the role:Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with EHCPs and additional needsAssist the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour support, and tailored interventionsPromote emotional regulation, independence, and positive routines throughout the school dayContribute to progress tracking and communicate regularly with the wider support team What We''re Looking For:Experience supporting children with SEND (in a school or care setting)Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectivelyA calm, compassionate, and proactive approachStrong understanding of Autism and SENDA relevant TA qualification To be eligible you must:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to ..... full job details .....
