SEND Teacher Primary SEND Unit (Maidstone)Location: Maidstone Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full Time Long-Term to Permanent Daily Rate: £163 £223 (depending on experience)Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher or Specialist with a desire to make a real difference in the lives of primary-aged children with diverse learning needs?We are currently working with a supportive, inclusive primary school in Maidstone that are seeking a committed and empathetic teacher to join their on-site SEND unit. This long-term position is available for an immediate start and has the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.The successful teacher will be working with a small group of children with a range of additional needs, delivering tailored lessons that support their academic, emotional, and social development in a nurturing and structured environment.What the Role Involves: Teaching a small class of children with a range of SEND, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties (MLD)Planning and delivering differentiated lessons across the primary curriculumMarking work and assessing progress in line with EHCP targets and individual needsCreating a positive, consistent, and engaging learning environmentWorking closely with LSAs, SENCO, and other professionals to provide a collaborative and inclusive support systemImplementing strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour We re ..... full job details .....
