A specialist SEND school in Sittingbourne are seeking a committed and compassionate Secondary SEND Teacher to join their team. This full-time role is to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year, with strong potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role
You will teach students in Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering personalised, engaging, and accessible lessons to meet the individual learning and emotional needs of your class. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and consistent learning environment that promotes personal growth and academic progress.
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
We are particularly keen to hear from secondary-trained teachers with a passion for Special Educational Needs, who are looking to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable learners.
Ideal candidates will:
- Hold QTS or QTLS status.
- Have experience teaching students with ASD and/or SEMH, or a genuine interest in working in this field.
- Be confident teaching across KS3 and KS4, delivering a modified curriculum.
- Bring a patient, resilient, and flexible approach to their teaching.
- Be proactive in working with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure each pupil receives holistic care and education.
- Be comfortable supporting students who may present with challenging behaviour.
- Be committed to inclusion, consistency, and helping every student realise their potential.
