Are you a passionate, resilient, and approachable educator with a calm and understanding manner£ Do you have a strong commitment to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)£ We are currently working with a andlsquo;Goodandrsquo; rated SEND school in Chatham that are seeking a dedicated and flexible SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This welcoming and supportive school caters to primary and secondary-aged students with a variety of learning needs, including Autism, social communication difficulties, and other complex SEND profiles. They are looking for someone who is open to planning and preparing engaging, differentiated lessons and who is committed to making a lasting difference in pupilsandrsquo; educational journeys.
We want to hear from you if you are:
- A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) OR an unqualified teacher with specialist subject knowledge and experience working with SEND
- Able to teach across a range of core subjects, with flexibility and creativity in your approach
- Experienced in or enthusiastic about working with pupils with Autism, SEMH difficulties, communication challenges, and additional learning needs
- A calm and compassionate professional with excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills
- Committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
- Confident working collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external professionals
- Ready to contribute to a whole-school approach and be a positive part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team
